Julie Serfass

Julie was born and raised in the District of Columbia, and graduated in 2006 from the George Washington University with a BA in Human Services. Upon graduation, she took a position as the Coordinator of the Campus Kitchen at Gonzaga College High School, a community service program through which volunteers use reclaimed food to prepare healthy meals that they deliver to local low-income seniors and families. Currently Julie balances her time between her paying job and organizing the local Washington Area Frisbee Club's rec league for developing players (she also serves as an at-large member on their board of directors). Julie buzzed her head with Buzzing for Change in April 2005 and is excited to help expand the program to reach more people.
