Six years in the making
Six years ago, on September 14th, 2003, Buzzing for Change held its first program. After that day many doubted if the successes we saw could be replicated. Six years and ten events later I think we can answer that doubt with a resounding "yes we can."
We are excited to announce today that The Board of Directors of The Buzzing for Change Foundation has adopted a strategic plan that will guide us through our next three years. Just like we asked at the meeting which created TB4CF, we asked ourselves what we wanted to accomplish and what steps will it take to get there. This plan lays out key action areas for us to focus on, including:
- Talent development
- Fundraising
- Program expansion
- Program stability, oversight and management
- Transitioning to a staffed non-profit.
It is my hope that in three years we can look back on this day as an important milestone in the life of B4C; one that allowed us to grow from a small volunteer based organization to a household (or "campus") name.
The goals laid out are ambitious and we will only be able to achieve them with hard work and determination. If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, please (as our newest Team member did) apply to join our team.
